Giant's Talon 27.5 3 gives you the acceleration and lightweight feel of a 26-inch wheel, with the traction and efficiency of a 29er. It all starts with Giant's ALUXX aluminum frame that's tough, yet light and responsive, just what you need for off-road excursions. Then you get a Suntour fork with 100mm of plush suspension and precise steering to guide you through the rough stuff. It's packed full of Shimano components with 27 speeds for hill-climbing, and Tektro disc brakes for great speed control with modulation. And, 27.5-inch Giant wheels and tires grip with authority and roll over anything in your way.

Im female, 5'8" and this bike fits me perfectly. It has been a long while since Ive had/ridden a bike. I've been riding almost eveyday and I feel really confident on this bike...so much fun. I did have to change out the saddle to a womens specific...the stock was killing me, but now it's all good.

I bought this bike expecting it to be able to handle rough terrain, jumps, a few crashes here and there( that's what you buy it for, right? ) instead several things broke after the 2nd ride. To be optimistic, I will be upgrading the lacking areas and ill always ride giant, but I was disappointed. spend a few hundred more and avoid these issues.

I use the Talon 27.5 3 as a daily commuter to and from school. Sometimes the roads are rougher than the trails. This bike is what I need rather than a hybrid because the bigger tires can take more abuse than thinner tires. So far this bike has proved itself to be a keeper. It looks heavier than it really is, and the ride is very smooth. 9/10!
