You know how it goes: if you carry a rain jacket, it won't rain; if you don't carry one, it'll pour on you. Giant makes the choice easy with their Superlight Rain Jacket. This water-proof and breathable jacket packs down easily so you can just stuff it into your jersey pocket and go. A full zip makes it easy to get on/off and reflective accents increase visibility just in case it actually does storm on you.

Comments:
Yes, it's a bit more expensive than many other lightweight rain jackets out there, but it's quite well made out of noticeably high quality materials. It does a great job of keeping the wet weather out, thanks in large part to its very nice construction on the high collar, at the sealing front zipper, and around the wrists; additionally, its ample length at the back allows it to completely shield the shorts from the road spray kicked up by the rear tire. And when the rain passes, this jacket is easily crumpled up and stuffed into a jersey pocket, and being so ultra light, you then forget it is there. In short, Giant's Superlight rain jacket is great!
