Purchased this bike a month ago and put 300 miles on it so far. I tried other brands from Specilized and Jamis but this one seemed the best value. It handles both paved and gravel roads well. The carbon fork makes a big difference in comfort and increasing road smoothness. I did not think that that the 27 speeds would make a difference over a 24 speed, but the different gear ratios are huge on the 27 speed, increasing speed and climbing ease. I'm an old man but still average 13-15 mph on my 15 mile rides.
Comments:
I bought this bike and ended up having to knock off 14 miles on it. I rarely cycle and when I do we're talking maybe 4 miles round trip. Bike was a life saver, seat, handlebars and speed were all good. I even went "cross country" on it trying to shorten my trip. I'm still pretty amazed by the bike, thus this review.

This bike is a workhorse. I am a big guy (250lbs) and my bike needs to be able to take a beating. This bike accelerates quickly, handles climbs well, and is still fairly lightweight for a bike at this price. I don't see myself needing another commuter/exercise bike for a very long time. I would have given it 5 stars, but my breaks started to squeal after about 100 miles and my local bike shop couldn't stop it so they replaced the whole break. Other than that one issue, I feel like I found a steal with this bike.

I GOT THIS BIKE LAST WEEK I WAS ONLY ABLE TO TAKE A SHORT 4 MILE RIDE BUT I LOVED IT. RIDES SMOOTHER AND A LOT FASTER THAN MY MTN BIKE.

Comfortable but quick. Quality but not expensive. Big range of gears, strong brakes. It's alot of bike for the money.
