Just in case you haven't heard yet, a major flaw has been discovered in Kryptonite U-Locks and possibly other brands using tubular key technology.

Through Internet bike forums the word got out that u-locks could be opened with bic plastic pens. Pretty amazing but true

The good news is that Kryptonite is upgrading all the locks bought within 2 years and offering discounts on trade-ins older than 2 years.

In order to get your new lock from Kryptonite you'll need proof of purchase. If you bought your lock at BAB and lost your receipt just stop by and we'll reprint one for you.

I just found a law office online that is handling claims for Kryptonite at no cost to you. I would give it a try, specially if your bike got stolen in the past while using one.
